Do I need to book - can I just turn up?
Advance booking on is essential in order to make arrangements for a particular date.
How can I pay?
You can either pay online or where agreed in advance by invoice.
What is included in the price of a Tour or Walk?
The services of a professionally qualified Blue Badge/Green Badge Guide.
How long does a Walk last and how fast is the pace?
A walk lasts for approximately 1 - 1.5 hours and the pace will allow those who do not walk quite so fast, so they can keep up without feeling rushed.
Are your Tours and Walks suitable for people in wheelchairs or with a disability?
Yes, of course. I will try my best to ensure the route is modified to allow us to access the normal Tour although there may be occasions when this is not possible.
What happens if it is raining - will Walks and Tours still go ahead?
Walks and Tours will go ahead in most weathers, so please come prepared!
Do I need to wear anything special?
Flat shoes for walking and a waterproof or umbrella should be adequate under most circumstances.
Who will be conducting the Tour or Walk?
Your Walk or Tour will be provided by myself, Sue Duckworth, a registered and professional Blue Badge Guide. If I am not able to guide due to unforeseen circumstance, another Blue Badge Guide will take over, if at all possible.
Why use a Blue Badge or Green Badge Guide?
Using a Blue Badge Guide is the only way to guarantee that your Guide has been professionally trained to the highest standard and is qualified and insured to do the job.
What happens once I have booked a Tour?
You will be sent a full Tour itinerary and an invoice for the outstanding balance where applicable.
For Tours, can you pick me up from the station, cruise terminal or airport?
This should be no problem but, depending on where you are arriving, may be subject to a further charge.
Are you insured for the Tours and Walks?
Yes, of course, I am a member of the Guild of Tourist Guides who provide insurance for all my Tours and Walks.

Sue Duckworth did a very good tour around Canterbury. She had thought it out well and, though we have been on a previous guided tour of Canterbury, she took us to some different places and told us all about the inhabitants, which was very interesting.
