"Your presentation was most interesting and beautifully illustrated. The historical background was particularly well-received and some people told me afterwards that they intended to revisit Sissinghurst armed with that knowledge."
- Hilden Ladies Probus - April 2018
"Thank you for a very interesting and informative evening on Thursday. I have received very positive feedback from members - some knew little or nothing about Romney Marsh and found it to be quite enlightening. "

"Sue Duckworth is an absolute gem! Sue guided us through Canterbury Cathedral & the Roman Museum & her knowledge was thorough & comprehensive, her personality delightful, and she was unflappable in our barrage of questions. Sue truly made the history come alive & we found her company to be utterly delightful - we would have been remiss to tour Canterbury without Sue's kind and thoughtful guidance - we highly recommend Sue Duckworth for those visiting glorious Canterbury & The Garden of England!"
- Teddie Maclean - January 2018
"Thanks for having a wonderfully clear speaking voice - I could hear every word you spoke! "

An interesting and well-informed talk.
- Wye Women's Institute , April 2016
Sue came to talk to the Ladies Lunch Club at Ashford International Hotel. Her talk was on the Medieval Churches of Romney Marsh. The ladies thoroughly enjoyed the talk and found Sue to be a friendly and entertaining speaker.
The talk was very informative with smuggling stories and also interesting tales about each of the churches origins. We are looking forward to having her back again for another talk in the near future!

Together with a number of supportive critical friends, we met as a group outside Canterbury Cathedral on a chilly sunny Sunday morning. Sue explained the route and was open to questions. Amongst the group were a couple of not ‘so sprightlys’ and the pace was set so that everyone could hear the commentary and see the points of historical interest. The tour was well researched and lasted about 2 hours, finishing with those who wished to take part in a very nice lunch and allowing us to further discuss the history of the places we had visited. Well done Sue!
- Tom & Paddy Elleman of Romney Marsh, Kent Canterbury Tales, November 2015
We all thoroughly enjoyed your presentation which gave us a good background of the stained glass windows in the cathedral
