Thank you very much for another very enjoyable and informative walk.
I think we all learnt a lot that we didn’t know about Ashford.
- Egerton Women's Institute , June 2016
Together with a number of supportive critical friends, we met as a group outside Canterbury Cathedral on a chilly sunny Sunday morning. Sue explained the route and was open to questions. Amongst the group were a couple of not ‘so sprightlys’ and the pace was set so that everyone could hear the commentary and see the points of historical interest. The tour was well researched and lasted about 2 hours, finishing with those who wished to take part in a very nice lunch and allowing us to further discuss the history of the places we had visited. Well done Sue!
- Tom & Paddy Elleman of Romney Marsh, Kent Canterbury Tales, November 2015
We have returned home with fond memories of Kent and particularly Romney Marsh. We enjoyed the day spent with you and thank you for making it so interesting.
- Richard , April 2018
Your presentation was most interesting and beautifully illustrated. The historical background was particularly well-received and some people told me afterwards that they intended to revisit Sissinghurst armed with that knowledge.
- Hilden Ladies Probus, April 2018
Your talk with illustrations on "Mapp & Lucia's Rye" was very interesting and informative, which was enjoyed by those present. It may well inspire some of us to read the books or watch a DVD
